All stained glass fluxes are RoHS compliant.
Our RubyFluid Flux line is also very popular amoung stained glass artisans.
Superior SuperSafe® No. 30 is an organic acid flux that is a safer alternative for soldering stained glass copper foil. No. 30 contains no Zinc Chloride or Ammonium Chloride. Flux residues wash off easily. This stained glass flux is low fuming, low smoking and has a pleasant odor.
Superior No. 30-Paste is a stained glass flux that offers the greater placement control of a paste. No. 30-Paste is easier on the hands than Zinc Chloride-bearing flux pastes. After soldering stained glass, the flux washes off easily, even if it’s been left on for up to 14 days.
Superior No. 45 stained glass flux promotes excellent solderability on copper foil. This alcohol-based flux thus does not pop or spatter while soldering stained glass.
Superior No. 70 is a petrolatum flux that contains Zinc Chloride and Ammonium Chloride. It is ideal for operations where the activity of a Zinc Chloride flux is needed. It is also recommended for applications where the paste consistency is conducive to flux placement and durability prior to soldering.
Superior No. 75 soldering flux offers the full strength of an inorganic acid stained glass flux. This flux contains both Zinc Chloride and Ammonium Chloride and is recommended for difficult-to-solder stained glass applications.
