Roofing Solder Flux
Our RubyFluid Flux has been a favorite roof soldering flux for over 100 years. RubyFluid fluxes are used for soldering galvanized steel, copper, tin and stainless steel roofs. Superior Flux also offers unique soldering fluxes for soldering zinc and aluminum. Superior Flux offers sal ammoniac bars for roofers.

RubyFluid Liquid Flux has been a favorite among roofers for over 100 years! It exerts just the right amount of fluxing activity to cause effective solder spreading and wicking. Can be used for a variety of non-roofing applications as well.
RubyFluid Paste Flux is ideal for situations where the paste form is needed for effective placement of the flux, such as cases where a liquid flux would drip off.
RubyFluid Stainless Steel Flux has the high-activity needed for the challenge of soldering stainless steel.
No. 71 High-Activity Soldering Flux is our strongest soft soldering flux. Ideal for soldering stainless steel, galvanized steel, zinc and other difficult-to-solder alloys (except aluminum).
No. 1260 Aluminum Soldering Flux is specifically formulated for soldering aluminum. Tin-Silver (Sn96.5/Ag3.5) and Tin-Zinc (Sn91/9Zn) are often the solders of choice when soldering aluminum.
Sal Ammoniac Bars are used to tin the copper tips of soldering guns, a method for ensuring optimal soldering efficacy.
