Superior No. CCF-1 is a centrifugal casting flux specially formulated for the needs of horizontal centrifugal casting. This flux consists of a proprietary blend of inorganic chemicals that protect molten metals from oxidation during the casting process. The prevention of oxide formation is instrumental for the joining of dissimilar metals during the centrifugal casting process. No. CCF-1 is specifically designed for the casting done in larger barrels.
Superior No. CCF-2 is a centrifugal casting flux that is specially formulated for the needs of horizontal centrifugal casting of smaller sized barrels. The proprietary formulation of CCF-2 prevents oxide formation during casting and enables the dissimilar alloys to effectively bond during centrifugal casting.
