Dispensable Brazing Flux
Superior Flux offers a full range of oil-based dispensable brazing fluxes. The fluxes are available as “white” fluxes, as well as a Boron-modified “black” flux. These dispensable fluxes are ideal for use with pneumatic dispensing units. They dispense accurately and smoothly. Their unique formulation prevents them from drying up even when left inside the dispensing machines for periods of time.

Low Viscosity Dispensable Brazing Flux
Our No. DAF-1A-SFM is a low viscosity, oil-based, dispensable brazing flux, which is ideal for applications where you need the flux to spread when applied. This dispensable brazing flux can be brushed on or applied via automatic dispensing unit. This flux is suitable for most brazing applications that use the BAg or BCuP brazing alloys. DAF-1A-SFM is active and protective to 870°C/1600°F. This dispensable brazing flux is recommended for brazing Copper, steel, stainless steel, Nickel, carbides, precious metals, and heat-resistant metals. The product comes packaged in jars, pails, and syringes.
High Viscosity Dispensable Brazing Flux
Superior No. DAF-1Z-SFM is a high viscosity, dispensable brazing flux. Due to the higher viscosity and oil-based formulation, this dispensable brazing flux is ideal for use with air-driven dispensing units. Its viscosity enables the flux to be accurately placed and to hold its form once applied. Suitable for Silver-brazing applications as well as brazing applications that use the BCuP brazing alloys. DAF-1Z-SFM cleans and protects the surface of the metal up to 870°C/1600°F. This dispensable brazing flux is recommended for brazing Copper-based alloys, mild and stainless steel, Nickel, carbides, precious metals, and heat-resistant metals. The flux is available in jars, pails, and syringes.
Boron-Modified Dispensable Brazing Flux
No. DAF-3B-SFM is a Boron-modified, oil-based, dispensable brazing flux. The addition of Boron enables this flux to sustain high temperatures for longer periods than non-Boron-modified brazing fluxes. The flux is recommended for use with BAg alloys (Silver brazing) or with BCuP (Phos-Copper) and is ideal for use with a variety of base metals, including carbide, Copper alloys, Nickel alloys, steel, stainless steel, precious metals, and heat resistant alloys. The DAF-3B-SFM is particularly suitable for Silver brazing of carbide as the addition of Boron enables the flux to survive the longer periods of heat needed for brazing carbides. This flux comes packaged in jars, pails, and syringes.
