VOC-Free, No-Clean wave solder fluxes offer the benefits of a No-Clean but without the special storage requirements needed for flammable, alcohol-based, No-Clean flues. These fluxes come in a variety of solids contents. They are formulated with special additives that reduce spattering during the solder process.

NO. 420F
Superior No. 420F is a VOC-Free, No-Clean flux specially formally for wave soldering. It can be used for both spray and foam soldering applications. With a low solids content of 2%, this flux is more suitable for Lead-bearing alloys. This wave solder flux is free of Halides, resin, and rosin, and is ideal for soldering high quality printed circuit boards in PTH, SMT, and mixed technology assemblies.
No. 420F-LF
Superior Flux 420F-LF is a VOC-Free, No-Clean wave soldering flux with a 4% solids content. The higher solids content makes this flux ideal for use with various Lead-Free alloys such as SAC305, SAC0307 and SN100C. Suitable for both spray and foam applications, this flux is free of Halides, rosins and resins.
This flux is available for purchase in cases of 4 x 1-gallon bottles, 5-gallon pails, and 55-gallon drums. Per special request, it is also available in individual gallon bottles, quarts, pints, and 4-oz bottles.
No. SSF-NC50
Our No. SSF-NC50 is a VOC-Free, No-Clean, Wave Soldering Flux with a high solids content (6%). Though originally formulated for selective soldering applications, this flux can also be used in wave soldering operations where an active VOC-Free No-Clean is needed. In addition to having a high solids content, this flux is formulated to be able to withstand temperatures that are considered high for a wave soldering operation. No. SSF-NC50 is a good choice for boards populated with oxidized or poorly plated leads.
Packaging
Our VOC-Free, No-Clean Fluxes are packaged in 1-gallon bottles (4 bottles per case), 5-gallon pails, and 55-gallon drums. Alternately, they are packaged in 4-liter bottles (4 bottles per case), 19-liter pails, and 208-liter drums. Contact Us if you have other packaging requirements.
